Citizenship
We accompany the process of obtaining Latvian and other EU citizenship. We help prepare documents, clarify requirements and complete all necessary stages.
Citizenship is one of the most important matters for a person living in another country. In Latvia there are several pathways: naturalisation, restoration of citizenship by descent, and registration for children of citizens. Each pathway has its own requirements and timelines.
We also assist in obtaining permanent residence (PR) and temporary residence permits for various categories of applicants, including relatives of EU citizens.

We submit documents to PMLP or the relevant authority

Required documents
- Passport or identity document
- Birth certificate
- Documents confirming residence in Latvia (declaration)
- Criminal record clearance certificate
- Latvian language proficiency documents (if required)
- Marriage/divorce certificate (if applicable)
- Parents' or grandparents' documents (for citizenship by descent)
